ah, san francisco,
where halloween is just another excuse to wack out, dress in drag, and
party like mad. of course the castro district is the place to be (despite
the city trying to force everyone to enjoy the more controlled festivities
at city center). my own costume was that of a paparazzi, complete with
vespa and a 70s throwback leather jacket. i was not 100% with it and
these pictures really suffered (lots of focusing problems, ahem). it
was, as usual, a wild party, with lots of surprises that would cause
cardiac arrest in anyone from god fearing states like mississippi...
everything here
was shot on kodak pj800 print film (pushed to 1600) and a few images
were shot on provia 1600 (@1600). i used the eos-3, 50mm f/1.4 lens,
and a speedlight with a gold luminex reflector. there were also several
beverages involved.
