as a kig growing up in europe lemans was the ultimate auto racing event, and these cars invoke many memories of dreaming about the 24 hour race. i believe i had several models of these cars sitting around the house for a while. i stopped watching the sport after i came to the states, only recently turning back to formula one. frankly, this race was pretty boring, these cars are so expensive that few owners wanted to risk damaging them, i saw very little passing, it was more like a parade... i hung around turn 7 for these shots, and only realized the light was bad when i got there (there was no time to walk back) |
