cirque de soleil outdoes itself by adding the element water (l'eau, hence the name O). bizarre trapese acts, twisted clowns, lots of water creatures, russian swings launching acrobats, flying courtesans, contortionists, all set to excellent music and lighting effects.

I was forced to shoot from the hip without benefit of looking through the viewfinder since phography was strictly forbidden.

I used a new lens, the 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS, set the focus manually so to not warn the ushers with the flashing light and let the camera do all the metering. i used fuji 800 gold print film at iso 1600.
