first saw this great setup on potrero hill in february. on that day
i had no camera and was too lazy to go home to get it.
over the next 6 months i went past this house at least once a week, cursing my apathy and bad judgement. either the light was bad, or the car wasn't there or someone parked their suv too close, or there were boxes in front of the house, etc. finally, late afternoon sun and car position were in conjunction and this time i didn't let it slip. got the canon and returned for a roll of shots of which these 5 turned out okay. i actually didn't know much about the car at first, but after reviewing the details in the pictures i got the words american, rambler, and super. ah the rambler, duh. a search on the web revealed the maker, american motor company, now defunct. |
