all of these, except the last two were taken in lazienki park, next to the chopin statue. i spent many afternoons there as a kid, sitting on these benches listening to my cousin, pianist eva osinska, playing chopin on a grand piano that would be rolled out each sunday rain or shine. the rainy days i remember the most, my brother and i dressed in clear pastic raincoats, the puddles, and the sound of chopin's genius. without a doubt, this place holds the most power in my heart and soul.
