taken
during a day hike in muir woods north of san francisco, ca. muir woods
is a redwood preserve created at the start of the century by the first
waves of concerned environmentalists who became aware of the dangers
of clearcutting.
most
of the photos were taken at +1 stops; the woods are very tricky to meter
so I did a lot of bracketing. because of the slow shutter speeds, i
shot almost all of these from a bogen tripod.
shot
on velvia using an eos-3 and a 28-135mm IS lens.
