8 hours as we sat around waiting for the year to end while our clothes
forever absorbed the smoke of the fire.

our own pathetic little fireworks display at midnight. above left from left to right, the eiffel tower, the big ben, and the snake charmer, funny how they all look the same. john and adella provided some sparkler magic. in the end, some folks went off to sleep in the 24 degree (F) night, while those who remained became drunker... and drunker... |
